Healthy Families Now Fund (HFNF) –
This fund is to raise money to promote good health, educate and train low-income minority families, adults, youth and children on adopting proper nutritional habits.
We will show participants, hands on, how to cook inexpensive nutritional meals. HFNF will fund the Keys to Health Program, workshops, individual coaching, health, fitness fairs, clinics, literature and an interactive Internet website. Partnerships include schools, local agencies, businesses, media and various health organizations.
Young Achievers Leadership Fund (YALF) – This fund is to raise money to promote, market and operate afterschool programs, training, employment opportunities, the Keys to the Future Program, Future Leaders Club (FLC) and individual counseling.
The YALF will achieve its goals through workshops, one-on-one coaching, mentoring, interactive Internet websites, distribution of DVDs, CDs and literature. Additionally, program participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience during paid On-The-Job Training (OJT) performing work and earning an income. Long-term plans are to establish an academy that emphasizes, basic skills- math, reading, science, writing and enhanced developmental disciplines such as leadership, business and technology.
